Epson TMT81 is a POS receipt printer built with innovative technology by Epson and offered at a cost of about Rs. 11,700. It suits your retail business requirements and budget. The width, depth and height of TMT81 are 144 mm, 189 mm and 145 mm respectively. The interfaces supported by TMT81 are Serial, Parallel, USB, and Ethernet. The circuit board is mounted upside down to protect it from accidental spillage to provide you an increased safety. The character sets that can be used are 95 Alphanumerical, 1 x International, 128 x 1 Extended Graphic South Asia models carry Thai (128 x 3) and Vietnamese (128 x 2) characters and the print fonts that are accumulated are 12 x 24 / 9 x 17 / 9 x 24 mm (including 2-dot spacing horizontally).

The Windows printer driver (APD) function makes the printer easy to install and use, and the angle of the top cover is made wide to allow for quick roll replacement. It requires power supply of about 24VDC ± 7%, and consumes power of about approx. 1.4 (Mean). The margin settings can be adjusted based on your needs, so that the unnecessary wastage of paper is reduced. It is expecting to give you a lifespan of 52 million lines (mean cycle before failure (MCBF)), 360,000 hours (mean time before failure (MTBF)) and auto-cutter life of 1.5million cuts. The roll paper width should be 79.5 ± 0.5 mm (3.13” ± 0.02”) and the diameter should be 83 mm (3.27”) maximum, and the thickness of paper can be 0.06 to 0.07 mm (0.002” to 0.003”).  It supports 48/64 characters per line.
