CT-S4000 is a thermal receipt printer built by Citizen Micro HumanTech with advanced and quality approved technology and is ideal for retail applications.  It is capable of producing high quality 3 and 4 inch labels, at high speeds up to 100mm/sec. It can accommodate three different paper widths such as 112 mm, 82.5mm and 80 mm with expanded 102 mm paper roll capacity. The interfaces that are supported by CT-S4000 are USB interface, serial or parallel interfaces. It also provides you the connectivity options like Dual interface USB built-in plus optional interface card slot, Serial, Parallel and LAN. The operating system that works with CT-S4000 are Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8, ESC/POS® emulation, JavaPOS, OPOS, and Cups. It is also extremely versatile with desktop or wall mount options, plus and provides you the ability to register user-defined characters and store logos in Flash memory and print receipts as well as bar codes. It offers print head life reliability of about 100 km, 1x 10^8 pulses (At normal temperature/humidity with recommended paper used) and auto cutter life of about 1 million cuts (At normal temperature/ humidity with recommended paper used).

It is offered as drop-in design for easier paper loading and head cleaning, and offers 2D barcode (QR-code and PDF417) support for allowing usage in allows wider applications. The unique DMA (Direct Memory Access) is included to allow faster text and graphics downloads. It has replaceable interface board, and built in buzzer that provides audible alert without adding extra cost devices. The A4 printer replacement compresses driver scales down documents, and the integrated power supply enables clean and neat workplace. The character sizes can be Font A: 1.50 x 3.00 mm, Font B: 1.13 x 3.00 mm, and Font C: 1.00 x 2.00 mm with line spacing of about 4.23 mm, and the user memory allocated is 384 KB. It requires supply voltage of about AC100 to 240V, 50/60 Hz, 130VA / DC24V, 2.0A, and consumes power of about Approx. 70W (in normal printing). The dimensions of the printer are 177 (W) x 213 (D) x 147 (H) mm, and its weight of about Approx. 2.3 kg.
