Design and Features

Creatbot DX is a 3D desktop printer designed to render the advanced level of 3D printing experience. The chassis is made of metal to meet the weight requirement that is needed for 3D printer to have stable operation and this also avoids shipping damages. The cooling system is intelligently manufactured to ensure that feeding of filament is been done at optimal temperature. The height of the nozzles can be easily adjusted and so the orientation of the nozzle is simpler while the print process is more linear and perfect. This also helps you when you create multi material or multi-color print. It saves your electricity by providing you an option of automatic shutdown if the printer is idle for five minutes after print job completion. It includes geared motors to provide proper filament feeding without any damage to it with increased feeding retraction. The silicone based ceramic heating panel with unidirectional thermal characteristics increases the life time of it and printer. The remote wire feeder architecture is adapted to ensure faster printing.

The build size of about 300*250*300mm gives you the freedom of building the objects you wish without any restrictions on size of the model. You are freed from worrying about the print failure due to improper supply of filament and non-availability of filament. This is done by detecting the availability of filament and intelligent pause of the print job while also alarming the user with beep sound for 20 seconds. And in case of power failure, creatbot recalls the left off position whereas also lowering the platform to provide you seamless docking experience. The creatbot has 80mm basic control panel with 9 functional keys performing different functions in different scenarios i.e. heating/cooling bed, suspend or resume print, browse for SD card, etc. The creatware software helps you prepare your print files in windows or Mac and is ready to download directly from the site.

Filament and Connectivity

The filaments that are supported by the creatbot 3D printer are PLA, ABS, and PVA. You can access your files only through USB and 4GB SD card that is provided along with the printer.
